KIPP East Community Primary Home
In 2014, we opened our doors at KIPP East Central Primary to 100 kindergarten students and their families. Four years later, we are now a pre-kindergarten through fourth grade school, growing to be a full pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Our vision is to offer a truly excellent education for families in New Orleans East, an area of New Orleans that has historically not had first-class options. We are part of our community and truly a neighborhood school, with 80 percent of KECP scholars residing in New Orleans East.
The Ten Who Counted focus on ten African Americans whose contributions to society, culture, our nation, and the world should be celebrated and never forgotten.
KIPP New Orleans Schools set scholars on a path to and through college and choice-filled lives
